Posture

Standing correctly to the ball is the foundation of my putting set-up – get this right, and the rest falls quickly into place. Your goal at address is to establish a posture that allows your shoulders to rock in a pendulum motion without any need for excess hand action or other compensations, which wonʼ't hold up under pressure.

Your ball should be positioned just forward in the middle of your stance. Determining how close the ball should be to your body is more complicated. It is generally agreed that you should set your putting posture so that your eyes are positioned directly above or just slightly inside of the ball. If your eyes are over the ball when you putt it, you can easily rotate your head to see down the intended line. So the PASS putting stroke stick can easily help to decide proper positions.  Be sure to put your left eye's reflected image placing on the mirror of the PASS putting stick. It is an easy and straightforward way to make a good posture of putting strokes.
